Scripture Union Launches Bible App for Children

Scripture Union has invested more than £1 million in its first digital game, to introduce the "Minecraft generation" of children to the Bible. The game, Guardians of Ancora, encourages children to undertake "quests" that bring Bible stories to life. The charity seeks to engage children who have had little exposure to the Bible. Google Map Gallery Includes Lands of the Bible

Google's Maps Gallery is a way for organizations to share and publish their maps online via Google Maps Engine. One interesting map that caught our eye is Lands of the Bible 1967 Map (© National Geographic Society), which is transparently overlayed on top of a map of the current Middle East.
