Robertson McQuilkin, 88, who stepped down from the presidency of Columbia Bible College and Seminary (now Columbia International University) in 1990 to care fulltime for his ailing wife, Muriel, has died. He was the author of 19 books, including A Promise Kept: The Story of Unforgettable Love (Tyndale House, 1998) and Understanding and Applying the Bible (Moody Publishers, 2009).
