Nearly 2/3 of Americans Say They Give Thanks to God at USA's Thanksgiving

Most Americans (63%) say they give thanks to God on Thanksgiving Day, according to LifeWay Research. Fifty-seven percent give thanks to their family, 31% thank friends, 8% thank themselves, and 4% thank fate.

Bible Honored in US House of Representatives

In commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of National Bible Week, Rep. Doug Lamborn of Colorado led an hour-long gathering on the floor of the US House of Representatives Nov. 15 recounting the Bible’s significance in the history of America and the recitations of Bible verses from members of Congress honoring the role the Bible has played in their lives.
