Amid Tornado Wreckage in Mississippi, a Bible is Left Untouched, Opened to Psalm 46

 

A tornado caused large-scale destruction at William Carey University with nearly all of the 30 buildings on campus affected. "We had extensive damage to our beautiful Bass Chapel, but the Bible on the pulpit was left undisturbed, and it's opened to Psalm 46: 'God is our refuge and strength in times of trouble,'" WCU president Tommy King said.


Vatican City Stamps Celebrate the 500th Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation

 

Vatican City will be among the postal administrations commemorating the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, along with Lithuania, Germany, and Brazil. The Reformation dates to Oct. 31, 1517, when German scholar and monk Martin Luther nailed 95 theses to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany.
